Umoja Operation Compassion in collaboration with African Stages Association of British Columbia [AS ABC] conducted a book drive for children books to be shipped to some African Countries. We identified institutions in Nigeria, Uganda and Ethiopia as suitable recipients of these books.  Three Boxes were sent to Uganda as well three boxes were sent to Nigeria and Ethiopia.  Due to transportation difficulties, todate we have no word weather Ethiopia and Nigeria recieved the books.  Canada post which carried the books have confirmed the dispatch, but the postal authorities in Africa have not recieved them except for Uganda.
